The Taco Project is perfect if you’re looking for a quick and casual date night, lunch or brunch date option! Everything on the menu is great… including the drinks!

Rowayton Seafood is always such a treat! Whether it’s for dinner, lunch or brunch… it feels cozy in the winter and like a perfect New England hangout in the summer. It’s located on the water in Rowayton and walking around after your meal is always a lovely way to wind down before heading home.

Prime is a great option if you’re looking to dine on the water and is perfect for a dinner date or for a date day brunch! I love their sushi and the salmon dish is great, too! Plus, you can take a walk on the dock before or after your meal.

Tony’s at the J House offers great service and the food is delicious. I highly recommend the loaded baked potato as a side dish (although, it’s huge so you’ll want to share). Same goes for the carrot cake if you save room for dessert! If you’d like to sit on the beautiful patio I recommend a reservation!

The Wheel at the Village has a cool vibe, the food is good and it’s on the water in Stamford! The Wheel’s ever-changing food, cocktail and craft beer selections showcase the best of what’s in season.

The Inn at Pound Ridge just feels special with dim lighting, an attentive wait staff and decor that’s a perfect mix of elegant and rustic. We went for our anniversary on a week night and while I made a reservation, it didn’t seem like we would have had a problem getting a table. Although, on the weekends I would definitely be sure to make one! This is an especially great option if you live in North Stamford!

Columbus Park Trattoria is a delicious option for Italian food! Their menu includes homemade pasta, marinara and other sauces. Start with a meat and cheese plate to share and save room for one of the great pasta dishes! Plus, it’s conveniently located in Stamford Downtown if you are heading to a movie or a show at the Palace Theatre to round out your evening!

Everything we’ve ever had at Capital Grille is just great! Plus, they’re really sweet when it comes to celebrating birthdays, anniversaries and other special occasions! NY Comedy Club Stamford is also across the way, if you’d like to add some entertainment to your evening!

Cafe Silvium is casual and absolutely delicious! Yes, you will probably have to wait for a table because they only take reservations for parties of six or more on Friday and Saturday. On weekdays, you can make a reservation for any size party. But, it’s worth it… plus this is definitely the restaurant with the biggest bang for your buck on our list. Definitely the perfect place to enjoy a hearty Italian meal!
