There’s nothing better than heading to a playground with the kids on a warm and sunny day!
But, before heading out, it’s helpful to have details on each playground so you can choose the best one for our kids. That’s why we put together the Guide to Stamford Playgrounds!
Scroll down for a list of playgrounds and click the + at the right of each toggle, to see a little about what each one offers!

It features a bus and cute playhouses for pretend play. Also say hi to the goats, who are always excited for company!
Emmett's Playground at Temple Beth El

350 Roxbury Road, Stamford
Emmett’s Playground is my personal favorite. It was built in memory of 10-year-old Emmet Manheim who passed away from aplastic anemia.
With help from a kid’s planning and design committee composed of Emmet’s cousins and friends, the playground has a roller-coaster theme and incorporates Emmet’s passion for things that are “fun, fast, and fair.”
Kids love the zip line, slides and climbing areas! The playground is fenced in and open to the public outside of school hours on weekdays, on weekends and holidays. There is also a gazebo and benches for sitting. It’s a great option for elementary school kids!

The playground was updated in 2025 and emphasizes natural features, blending seamlessly with the park’s lush landscape. It features a cool slide, swings, climbing structures, wheelchair-accessible merry-go-round and jungle gym.
There are even restrooms that look like frogs on-site, so bathroom breaks don’t stop the fun! And picnic tables for a snack break.
Triangle Park

First, the playground is gated so it’s easy to keep track of little ones. There are low to the ground structures and structures that are a little higher. There are also a couple of swings.
There is a dog park next to the playground which is great for kids who love watching puppies play and there is a splash pad with a bathroom just outside the gate to the playground! Perfect for cooling off on hot days.
