October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. This month, several businesses in Stamford are supporting Paint The Town Pink!
In 2005 Stamford Health expanded its breast cancer awareness message by creating Paint the Town Pink, a campaign every October to celebrate National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Paint the Town Pink stresses the importance of screening and early detection and spreads the word about the comprehensive breast care services available in the community.
In recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness month, Stamford Health is offering additional time slots for mammograms at all of its Breast Center locations – Stamford Health’s Tully Health Center, Greenwich, Darien and Wilton. To be eligible, mention the word “PINK” when you make your appointment. For more information and to schedule an appointment, call 203.276.PINK (7465). You can also fill out this form.
