When I started my baby registry while pregnant with my first baby, I had no idea what I was doing. But the one thing I did know was that I didn’t want a ton of baby gadgets cluttering our house, cars, garage, shed and everything in between. I was looking for items that were versatile and would change with my growing baby. That’s why when choosing a stroller; the UPPAbaby VISTA seemed to be a natural fit. And boy, did I make a great decision! Let me explain.
When my son was an infant, we typically clicked the UPPAbaby MESA infant car seat right into the stroller to take him seamlessly from the car, anywhere we wanted to go. He took many naps in that car seat, locked into the UPPAbaby VISTA during walks, at restaurants, etc. (no adapter required). The car seat clicked so easily in and out of the stroller that I never had any issue doing it one handed (as us moms tend to do everything). He really liked lounging in the VISTA Bassinet, too!
Come about 5 months old, he was steady enough to sit in the Toddler Seat and was as happy as could be about it! Even now, at 13 months old he is excited to go for walks around the neighborhood in the UPPAbaby VISTA with his cheerios! He does still fall asleep in there sometimes. And when he does, I love the Reversible Toddler Seat with multi-position Toddler Seat recline to make him more comfortable. This summer, I was particularly excited to discover the pop out UPF 50+ sunshade that added an extra layer of protection from the sun after sunscreen was applied and I put a hat on him. In my mind there’s no such thing as being too careful when talking about sunburn!
We aren’t planning on adding to our family just yet, but when we do, I know the UPPAbaby VISTA will continue to work its magic! That’s one of the things that made it so appealing initially. The VISTA has expandable seat selections and configurations that can comfortably hold two MESA infant car seats, two Bassinets, or two Toddler Seats. I don’t know that we’ll ever get this adventurous… but you can event transport up to three children by adding a PiggyBack Ride Along Board. Wow!!
As an added bonus, the UPPAbaby VISTA folds up very quickly and easily. I was recently folding the stroller up and putting it into the trunk of the car after a shopping trip when another mom stopped me and said she couldn’t believe how easy it looked putting the stroller away. She said it made her want to trade hers in. I completely understand why!
Bottom line: The UPPAbaby VISTA’s key message, VISTA -One for all really does ring true! The VISTA is a performance stroller system that has a variety of configurations and maneuvers like a single stroller with the ability to adapt as a family grows. What’s even better, in 2018 there are new fashions and features including, an extended bassinet, new front wheel design, and 100% premium leather accents on all fashions! I mean, who doesn’t want baby gear that looks good too?!
