The location at 1 Greyrock Place on the corner of Greyrock Place and Tresser Boulevard will offer Roost’s signature scratch-made items, featuring locally sourced ingredients, in a seasonal menu and paired with locally roasted artisan coffee from Kestrel Coffee Roasters. Award-winning Chef and local business-owner Mike Pietrafeso and his team will offer made-to-order breakfast and lunch items, including toasts, oats and smoothies, and coming soon an evening offering with small plates, wine and beer. Guests can dine in at this location with 100 seats and plenty of space for local residents and professionals, or take items to-go with convenient parking on-site.

“Roost has a loyal following in Connecticut and we’re excited to bring this concept to Stamford,” said David Barry, President and CEO of Urby. “The addition of Roost Kitchen + Coffee reflects our commitment to building the larger community between our residents and the neighborhood by creating a brilliant café in our lobby for all to enjoy.”

Roost also has a ‘sister store’, Ada’s Kitchen + Coffee in Greenwich, which opened in 2016.

Chef Pietrafeso is excited to join the Stamford community and partner with Urby to create experiences for their residents and work with local businesses to enhance the sense of community in the cities they are located in.

“The support of the local community and our customers has been incredible these last few years, said Chef Pietrafeso, it is an exciting time to be part of the downtown Stamford community and to join the number of locally owned businesses in the area.”
