Recipe: Nut Or Seed Butter Board! | Stamford Moms

Want to get in on the “butter board” trend in a way that the whole family can enjoy? Try making a nut or seed butter board! It’s actually really easy and everyone (kids included) will be thrilled with the snack… it looks pretty too if you’re expecting company!

Just grab your favorite cheese board and a knife for spreading!

INGREDIENTS:

  • Your family’s favorite nut or seed butter (I used peanut butter)
  • Mini marshmallows
  • Chocolate chips
  • Pumpkin candy OR M&M’s
  • 1 apple sliced
  • Pretzels or crackers

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Spread your nut or seed butter in a horizontal motion, in the middle of the board (leave space on the right and left side for your dippers).
  2. Sprinkle marshmallows over the nut or seed butter on the top and bottom of the board.
  3. Sprinkle chocolate chips on top of or below the marshmallows, also on top of the nut or seed butter.
  4. Place your pumpkin candies or sprinkle your M&M’s in the middle, also on top of the nut or seed butter.
  5. Arrange the pretzels on the right side of the board.
  6. Arrange the apple slices on the left side of the board.
  7. Dip your apple slices and pretzels in the nut or seed butter with some toppings and enjoy!

What I love about adding the pumpkin candies is that this board becomes festive for Thanksgiving! Although I must say… pretzels, nut or seed butter and chocolate chips are a winning combo!
