Walter, Enzo and Domenico are the three dads behind the beautiful and delicious new Stamford Downtown restaurant, Divina!
Located on Summer Street, Divina is a modern Italian experience with an innovative menu that combines traditional Italian fare with a creative twist. From housemade pasta to wood-fired pizza and fresh seafood, it’s a great restaurant for dinner, lunch or drinks with friends!
Walter (dad to Luna, 7 and Michele, 6), Enzo (dad to Gia, 12 and Dante, 7) and Domenico (dad to Ana Sofia, 12 and Joey, 5) are also behind Table 104. We had a chance to speak with Enzo about the inspiration for the restaurant, what he loves about Stamford and going out to eat with his own family!
We have been big fans of Table 104 for years, why did you decide to open Divina at the Courtyard Stamford Downtown?
Our new concept, modern Italian, allows us to be more creative, source locally and share innovative dishes. We are excited to bring it to life in Stamford.
Do you have a favorite item on the menu at Divina?
I have many favorites, but for this time of year, my choice is to start with the tuna crudo, have a small taste of the spaghetti chitarra and end with the char-grilled branzino. Pair that with Long Island owned “Summer in a Bottle” rose! I like to keep it fresh and tasty. Seafood brings me back to my days growing up on the Mediterranean in Calabria.
What do you love about going out to dinner with your family?
I am always very thankful when I get the opportunity to dine out with my family. I appreciate the entire experience from sipping wine to tasting different food combinations. I want each one of my guests, when they visit one of our restaurants, to live and share that special experience.
What’s the best piece of advice you’ve gotten from another dad?
The best piece of advice I have received from another dad is after I had my first child. He told me, “Regardless of the day you’ve had, go home, kiss your wife, take the baby, and let her have some free time.” Although my daughter is now 12, I’m still giving my wife her “free time”.

Lunch: Daily, 11:30 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Dinner: Sunday – Wednesday, 3 p.m. – 9:30 p.m., Thursday – Saturday, 3 p.m. – 10:30 p.m.
Brunch: Saturday – Sunday, 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Happy Hour: Monday – Friday, 4 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. at the bar and the newly opened outdoor area!
