Hit the Refresh Button in Your Closet! | Stamford Moms

I love organization, especially in my closet. It’s not particularly big and if things aren’t in a certain place, I can’t ever find them during my rush to get dressed in the morning, especially with my one and a half year old at my feet begging me to pick him up. And there’s nothing worse than being late because you can’t find the shirt you’re looking for!

Every time I clean out my closet, I end up chucking those trendy pieces I just loved when I bought them, usually because I’m over them within a month or two. What I end up keeping are the majority of my t-shirts, leggings and jeans. Typical, right? Apparently it is! According to the clothing company Peach, basics are the 20% of your closet, you wear 80% of the time. I tend to completely agree with that statistic. Basics are my GO TO! There’s nothing better than a good pair of black leggings and a white t-shirt. They make me feel put together, can be dressed up in the winter with a fur vest and heeled ankle boots or dressed down with sneakers. Plus, they can carry me through the seasons!

Right now, I’m super into Peach’s Moto Ponte Pant! The leggings are a high rise with 4” waistband, so they suck you in and they’re made of premium ponte fabric which is thick so that I feel supported, know they aren’t see through and feel like I’m wearing a combo pant/legging.

I love pairing it with the Pima Crew Neck! The shirt is made of Peruvian Pima cotton with spandex to create a polished fabric that maintains durability and softness. The long sleeve crew neck tee is ideal for gym, work and play. I have it in white but now I need to get black, too!
