This is a great time to do some back-to-school shopping! Tax free week begins in Connecticut on Sunday, August 18 and runs through Saturday, August 24.
During the annual event, many items under $100 are exempt from sales tax. For items that cost more than $100, sales tax is calculated on the full purchase price.
