Make A Christmas Breakfast Board! - Stamford Moms
breakfast board
Looking for a fun and creative way to serve breakfast on Christmas morning?
We got the idea from Mariane Quadri. She is the mom of three behind Lulu Quadri and she loves a breakfast board! “It’s a one stop shop for all the breakfast goodies and the best part is that you can tailor it and add all the family favorites… plus kids love it,” she says! (And it also works for breakfast for dinner)!
Just grab a platter and add breakfast items!

My Family Likes to Include:

Bacon, waffles made with a gingerbread man waffle maker, chocolate chip pancakes strawberries, blueberries, raspberries bananas and maple syrup!
But the best thing about a breakfast board is that you can get creative and incorporate all of your family’s favorites!

I have a new pancake/waffle recipe we love (it’s super easy):

INGREDIENTS:

1 cup of all-purpose flour
sprinkle of cinnamon
2 tbsp of brown sugar
2 tbsp of sugar
2 1/2 tsp. of baking powder
1/2 tsp of salt
1 1/4 cups of milk
3 tbsp. of melted butter
1 egg

INSTRUCTIONS:

Combine all ingredients into a mixing bowl and whisk until they are combine (and there are as few lumps as possible). Spoon the mixture into a waffle maker or onto a skillet for pancakes!

Other Breakfast Board Ideas:

A bagel board with red and green bagels from Stew Leonard’s would be fun, as would a board with donuts from Beldotti or So Fresh Donut Co!
