My Gym Stamford
My Gym has class options for babies starting at a month old with a parent! (There are independent options for older children). Check the schedule here to see which class is a good fit for your child! These classes are a great way to play with your child while allowing them to learn, move and try new things! Classes are offered on Saturday mornings, as well as during the week. Learn more here!
Parent & Me Swim Class
Introduce your child to the water, while having fun together during a swim class!
Chelsea Piers Stamford offers classes for children starting at 3 months old.
Goldfish Swim School in Stamford and Norwalk offer classes for children beginning at 4 months old.
The IC Stamford offers swim classes for children starting at 6 months old.
Sweet Blue Swim has classes for children beginning at 2 months old.
Little Talkers Co.
Little Talkers Co. was created by three speech-language pathologists with a love and passion for helping babies, toddlers and little ones develop language, communication and social skills. They offer classes that incorporate language-rich play, literacy, and sensory exploration to promote language and social development. The Winter 5 week Class Series begins on Monday, January 8 at the Alliance Center in Stamford!
Family Tree Yoga
Family Tree Yoga is an amazing place for moms and babies/toddlers! Some offerings vary by month. Baby & Me Yoga is for 6 weeks – pre-crawling, Baby Massage Class is for 4 weeks – pre-crawling, January – February Story-time, Sensory & Art Class is for ages 6 months – 20 months.
Scribble Dabble Creative Studio
This program was created by a Stamford mom and offers play-based art for little creatives. Scribble Dabble nurtures creativity through pop-up art & creative play programs for children ages 5 and under. Learn more here!
The Alliance Center
The Alliance Center Playgroup is open on Thursday mornings, 9:15 a.m. – 11:15 a.m. on a drop in basis for children ages 0 – 3. No need to make a reservation (unless you want to), just drop in with your kids and come play, make yourself a warm drink, have a snack and meet other like-minded parents and caretakers who are in the same boat and also need another safe space besides their own four walls. Baby & Me Yoga (Pre-Crawlers) Wednesdays at 9:45 a.m. For babies aged 4 weeks until crawling.
Steps Dance Studio
Steps Dance Studio offers Mommy & Me Dance Classes for ages 9 months – 3 years and Tap/Ballet classes for 2 – 4 year olds.
Jumpin’ Jams
Mixed age classes are for 6 months – 5 years with classes during the week. Check the schedule here. Jay’s classes are a fun and interactive way to bring music to your morning or afternoon. Learn more there!
Music Together Fairfield County
With classes for a number of ages beginning with babies, Music Together is a fun way to introduce your child to the world of music! Baby classes are for ages 0 – 6 months and mixed age classes are great if you also have an older sibling, ages 0 – 5! The JA Elite Soccer’s Soccer Stars Program is open to children beginning at 18 months old.
The Soccer Shots Program is open to children beginning at 2 years old.
