Looking for a fun way to celebrate 4th of July with your family… and maybe see some fireworks? We have put together a list of exciting events and displays in our area!

Westport Fireworks
Thursday, June 30
This is a ticketed event and tickets can be purchased at the Westport Police Department, 50 Jesup Road and at the Parks and Recreation Office, 260 Compo Road South.

Stamford Fireworks
Friday, July 1 (Saturday, July 2 raindate), 9 p.m.

CANCELLED DUE TO WEATHER FORECAST – Binney Park & Greenwich Point Park Fireworks
Saturday, July 2 at dusk
Regular entry rules for Greenwich Point apply. Vehicular access to the Point closes at 8 p.m. or earlier, if parking capacity is reached.

New Canaan Fireworks
Sunday, July 3 at 5 p.m.
The 40th Annual Family Fourth of July Celebration will begin at 5:00 pm on Saturday, July 2, 2022. All vehicles must enter through the South Avenue entrance to Waveny Park. Activities will include family picnicking and several gourmet food trucks. Live music will include “Mind the Gap” from 5:30-7:15 pm, and the Town Band from 7:30-9:15 pm. A spectacular fireworks display is scheduled to start soon thereafter. Click here for entrance pass info!

Norwalk Fireworks

Fairfield Fireworks
Sunday, July 3, 9:15 p.m.
Beach Parking lots can be accessed either with a Season Beach Sticker or by purchasing a Daily Pass for $50.00 per vehicle (credit card only). Daily Passes will be limited to the first 300 vehicles at Jennings Beach and 100 vehicles at Penfield Beach.

4th Annual reading of the Declaration of Independence

2022 Push-n-Pull Parade
Monday, July 4
Step off from Darien High School with a start time of 10:30 a.m. sharp. Families are encouraged to arrive at Darien High School from 9:45 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. The parade will end at the VFW Post 6933, located at 205 Noroton Avenue (in the parking lot adjacent to the Noroton Heights Fire Department and McGuane Field).

Annual July 4th Bike Parade in Fairfield
Monday, July 4, 10 a.m.
Starting at the Five Corners in Southport Village with decorated bikes, scooters, and wagons, parade down Pequot Avenue to arrive at the Great Lawn of Pequot Library, where we enjoy face-painting, hula hooping, bubble gum contests, and crafts.

Rowayton Fireworks
Monday, July 4, 9 p.m.
The Rowayton Fireworks will light up the sky from Bayley Beach. Non-residents in season must pay to access Bayley Beach. The fee is $100 for the Fourth of July and the day of fireworks, $50 per car for special events, $30 per car on weekends/holidays and $25 per car on non-holiday weekdays. Walks in are $10 per person or $25 per family.

3-D Fireworks at Quassy Amusement & Waterpark
Monday, July 4 after dark
3-D Fireworks return this July 4th after dark. Special viewing glasses sold to benefit Give Kids The World Village. Rides and waterpark open at 11 a.m. Holiday pricing in effect.

Darien Fireworks
Friday, July 15 (Saturday, July 16 raindate), 6:30 p.m. – 10 p.m.
Gates open at 6:30 p.m. and the fireworks start approximately 9:15 p.m. Parking permits are $35 and can be purchased online at Darien Parks & Rec. Various food vendors will be available and the Community Band will be performing.
