
A Stamford Beach Pass is required at Cove Island, Cummings, West Beach, John J. Boccuzzi, Dorothy Heroy & Newman Mills Riverbank Walk Parks in Stamford beginning May 1, through September 30.
Beach permits are now available for purchase online for the 2026 beach season for Stamford residents.
- You will be required to input your car’s license plate and attach necessary documentation in the online system.
- If your license plate does not match what is in the system, you will be ticketed.
- You must pay for your permit and receive a receipt in order for your permit to be valid.
- All information is available in your account on The Permit Portal.
Validation of permits will be enforced digitally based on the license plate that is approved within the city’s permitting system.
A seasonal Beach Pass can also be purchased in-person at the Cashiering & Permitting Department at the Stamford Government Center
