Happy Cinco de Mayo! Looking for a perfect margarita recipe to celebrate?

We are so excited for two delicious margarita recipes from The Cozy Food Feed, the Slightly Smoky Summer Margarita and the Fresh Blood Orange Margarita.

Slightly Smoky Summer Margarita

Ingredients for 2:

3 oz blanco tequila
1 oz mezcal tequila
juice of 3 fresh limes
1 oz agave
1/2 oz cointreau
slice of jalapeño pepper (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Add tequila, mezcal, fresh lime juice, agave and cointreau to a mixing shaker over plenty of ice.
  2. Shake for 30 seconds to 1 minute.
  3. Pour and serve!
  4. For an extra kick, muddle a slice of jalapeno in the glass before pouring. Garnish with fresh lime and another slice of jalapeno!
 
 

Fresh Blood Orange Margarita

Ingredients for 2:

juice of 2 fresh limes
juice of 1/2 blood orange
3 oz blanco tequila
3/4 oz raw agave

Instructions:

  1. Add all ingredients on ice to a mixer and shake for 30 seconds to 1 minute.
  2. Garnish with your favorite ingredients, like lime, fresh blood orange, and chili lime salt!
  3. Enjoy with your favorite snacks!
