Finding the perfect Christmas tree is the ultimate holiday tradition, and one that we are all excited to start this season!

But when it comes to choosing the perfect place to get your tree, especially if you like to cut your own, it can be tough. So, we’re here to help! Scroll down for a list of nearby cut your own tree farms!

Castle Hill Farm
Newtown, CT

Hot cider and cookies will not be available on the weekends. Dogs permitted if on a leash, well behaved, and cleaned up after. 

Dzen Tree Farm
South Windsor, CT
Open through Christmas Eve
9 a.m. – 4 p.m., 7 days per week

The reindeer family, Tuukka, Belle and Rudy will be at the farm for the entire season. Rockin’ Reindeer Cafe will be open on the weekends.

Everett’s Corner Farm

Saws provided – Motorized saws are NOT permitted, FREE Baling, FREE Twine for you to tie your tree to your vehicle, tree transport wagons provided, restroom available, dogs are welcome as long as they remain on a leash and you pick up after them, Due to limited parking they do not permit tailgating parties

Fairview Tree Farm
Shelton, CT
Opening mid-November

Open daily through December 22 (or until sellout), 10 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

No Reservations are necessary to visit. Due to popular demand and limited spots, reservations are required for the horse-drawn hayride, here. Pick out an ornament from our Christmas Shoppe, and warm up with some cocoa and hot cider donuts from the concession shop.

Jones Family Farm
Shelton, CT
Opening Saturday, November 20 – Closing Friday, December 24

Guests are required to have reservations for Harvest Your Own Trees and Fresh Cut Trees only on weekends from November 20 – December 12. Reservations will also be required the Friday after Thanksgiving. 

At the start of the season, reservations will not be needed on weekdays for harvest your own or fresh cut trees. Look at your upcoming schedule and try to come on a weekday. 

On the busy weekends from November 20 through December 12, $20 will be charged for cars to enter the parking areas that are not getting a tree. (If you are getting a tree, there is no car charge.)  There is no tailgating permitted.

Maple Row Farm

Open daily beginning Saturday, November 20, 9 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Cut Your Own, $105 on weekends. Cash or Check, Visa, Mastercard, American Express & Discover accepted. Wreaths, Roping, Stands, and other Holiday accessories, Hayrides, Refreshments, Tailgaiting allowed.

Sabia Tree Farm
Easton, CT

No tailgating allowed at the farm this year. No dogs allowed at the farm this year. No picnics.

Windswept Tree Farm
New Milford, CT

Open Fridays, 1:00 p.m. & Open Saturdays & Sundays, 9:30 a.m. beginning at 9:30 a.m. the Friday after Thanksgiving!
