The coronavirus disease (COVID-19) is impacting students and families in our community. SPEF, is working closely with the City of Stamford and Stamford Public Schools to do what they can to support their most urgent needs.
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED: The Stamford Public School district is providing Grab and Go Meals for anyone under the age of 18, at sites throughout the City. SPEF is looking to help organize a roster of 50+ adult volunteers to hand out prepared breakfasts and lunches during Spring Break (on April 6, 8, and 10) during the hours of 9:45 am – 1:15 pm. In the event the scheduled provider is unable to be at their location to serve meals, you may be asked to fill in there as well. Volunteers will be notified by 9:00 am if they are needed that day.
