Next school year may seem like a long way off, but it’s important to register for kindergarten now!
If you live in Stamford and have a child who will be five years old on or before before January 1, 2022, you are encouraged to register as soon as possible.
Each year more than a thousand Stamford children become eligible to attend Stamford Public Schools. Unfortunately many are not properly registered prior to the beginning of the school year, which creates challenges for both parents and educators alike.
The steps for Kindergarten registration are simple. Under Stamford Quick Links on the home page of the district website is a School Registration button. Once you click on that button, be sure to carefully read and follow the directions for registration, including the required documents.
