The 2021 Super Bowl Recipe Round Up! | Stamford Moms
My favorite thing about Super Bowl Sunday is always the food! And even though your celebration may be smaller than usual this year, the big game is still a perfect excuse to put out an awesome spread!

So, we rounded up a list of recipes from some of our friends to help make your 2021 Super Bowl Sunday as delicious as ever!

SUPER BOWL BAKED BRIE BITES

‘Team Inspired’ Baked Brie Bites are a quick and easy Super Bowl appetizer with minimal ingredients. And, the best part, these luscious bites of heaven take less than 15 minutes!

Light, crispy premade phyllo shells are filled with a cube of creamy brie cheese and topped with a dollop of jam and fresh berries. These delicious appetizers will wow everyone, and they will never guess how easy they are!

INGREDIENTS:

  • Brie cheese: I recommend a triple cream brie for it’s superior melting quality. Supreme is an excellent brie brand.
  • Lemon Curd:  You can use purchased or homemade. I absolutely love Trader Joe’s Lemon Curd. You can also substitute lemon curd for any other favorite jam or jelly!
  • Premade frozen phyllo shells: Found in Stop & Shop or your local supermarket freezer section.

MAKE IT GAME DAY FESTIVE!

  • Blackberries: black for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers accent color
  • Goldenberries: gold for the Kansas City Chiefs accent color
  • Pomegranate Seeds: red for both teams, get a splash from pomegranate seeds!

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Cut the brie into one-half inch squares
  2. Place a square of brie in each of the phyllo cups.
  3. Top the brie with one-half teaspoon of fruit spread.
  4. Place on a parchment or aluminum foil lined baking sheet
  5. Bake for 8-10 minutes- or until the brie is melted and bubbly.
  6. To garnish, add a blackberry or sliced goldenberry and top with 2 or 3 pomegranate seeds each.

A GUARANTEED WINNING PLAY!

MY FAVORITE BUFFALO CHICKEN DIP!

INGREDIENTS:

Canned or rotisserie chicken (4 cans)
2 sticks cream cheese
2 cups ranch
2 cups franks
1 bag shredded cheddar
1/2 bag shredded mozzarella
Blue cheese crumbles

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Mix everything but blue cheese & a small amount of cheddar.
2. Pour in a dish & top with blue cheese & the remaining cheddar.
3. Put in the oven at 350 degrees for about an hour, broil at end for the blue cheese to melt.

DELICIOUS DRY RUB WINGS

INGREDIENTS:

3/4 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon pepper
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon onion powder
1 1/2 teaspoons chili powder
1/2 to 1 teaspoon of cayenne pepper, less or more for desired spice
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground mustard (optional)

DIRECTIONS:

Mix all of the spices in a bowl or gallon ziplock bag (the bag is easier).  Spray or brush wings with olive oil and toss 3-4 wings at a time in the bag or bowl to make sure they are fully coated. 
 
Oven:
Bake wings at 400 degrees for 45 minutes, or until crispy golden brown.
 
Air Fryer:
Bake wings at 400 degrees for 14 minutes on one side, then flip wings and make for another 12 minutes at 400 degrees.
 
Garnish with parsley and serve with the dip of your choice!

Cooking Tools: Pot to deep fry, vegetable or corn oil and strainer 

INGREDIENTS

Cauliflower Florets
1/2 Cup Bamma Fish Fry, Pre-Seasoned Cornmeal. You can order online at www.breakfastbelle.com!
1/2 – 3/4 Cup Water
Handful of chopped scallions
Bamma Hot Sauce or your hot sauce of choice
Blue cheese or Ranch dressing

DIRECTIONS

  1. Mix your Bamma Fish Fry and Water together. Add more water if need for a pancake batter like consistency.
  2. Rinse and cut cauliflower florets in medium chunks .
  3. Dip florets into batter and cover with batter. Allow any excess to drip off.
  4. Place in hot oil (350 degrees).
  5. Cook for a bout 4min and then place in strainer or on paper towel to rest.
  6. Pour your hot sauce in a mixing bowl and toss your fried cauliflower in it.

*For an extra crunch, place it in the oven on broil for 2 – 3minutes. IT CAN EASILY BURN SO PLEASE BE SURE TO KEEP YOUR EYE ON YOUR OVEN WHILE ITS ON BROIL.*

Serve with blue cheese or ranch dressing and garnish with scallions!
