The Ferguson Library has announced a temporary location for the South End Branch of the Ferguson Library. The new location will open on March 11.
The branch was closed after a flood in the Lathon Wider Community Center in early January.
It will temporarily relocate to 78 Southfield Avenue above the restaurant, Prime. The space was provided rent-free for six months by its owner, the Stamford real estate developer Building & Land Technology.
“We are very grateful to the City and BLT for assisting us in getting back and open in such a timely manner. We are also very excited about our new location and look forward to serving the South End and Waterside communities,” said Ferguson Library CEO Alice Knapp.
The hours will remain the same: Monday – Thursday, 10 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
