Stamford Recreation has announced opening dates and lifeguard hours for beaches during the Summer 2021 season.
West Beach, Cove Island Park and Cummings Beach
Open weekends starting Memorial Day weekend:
May 28 – 31 until Labor Day weekend September 4 – 6.
Open weekends only starting May 29th – June 13th
Open weekdays starting Monday, June 14 – Monday, September 6.
Open 7 days a week June 14th – Labor Day
Lifeguard Hours: 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
The tram runs 10 a.m. – 6 p.m., seven days a week starting Saturday, May 29, – Monday, September 6.
Parking permits are required at Cove Island, Cummings, West Beach, Southfield, Dorothy Heroy & Newman Mills Riverbank Walk Parks, May 1 – September 30. Click here for more information.
