Nothing says summer like a family picnic with delicious food, sunshine and games!
Join Stepping Stones Museum for Children for their first “Farmers and Friends Family Picnic”. The picnic will include a Farmer’s Market with free food samples from local farms, restaurants and stores. Mingle with food and garden experts, go on a tour of the Edible Garden, learn about worm farms and which vegetables grow best in Connecticut.
Families will also learn how easy (and delicious) it is to eat locally sourced foods to support their health and community. By the end of the day your belly will be full, and your thumb green!

Tickets: Adults $45, children $25. Includes catered lunch and museum admission.
