The 2018 Veterans Day Parade will be held on Sunday, November 11 beginning at noon. The parade will begin at the corner of Hoyt & Bedford, and head down Bedford Street to Spring Street.
Because of the parade, the following roads will be closed:
Bedford St. from Hoyt St. to Broad St.
North St. from Summer to Prospect St.
Prospect St. at Walden Pl.
Prospect St. at Forest St.
Sergeant Ted Ogonek will be the 2018 Grand Marshal.
The Veterans Council typically hosts a memorial at 11:00 a.m. on November 11 every year at the Sailor and Soldier Memorial on Grove and Elm St. However, there will NOT be a ceremony at Veterans Park this year as a result of the current construction project at Veterans Park.
