Chelsea Piers Athletics
Chelsea Piers in Stamford offers learn-to-play classes, clinics, competitive teams, drop-ins, and leagues for children and adults. Tryouts are coming up for Chelsea Piers Soccer Club try outs. Winter class registration is ongoing and prorated.
The IC
Spring is in the air and so are fun times! Check out the upcoming Spring Youth Programs at the IC, including intro to sports, wife ball, flag football, developmental soccer, swim team, tennis and pickleball.
i9 Sports Youth Sports Program
At i9 Sports, they focus on character, teamwork, and resilience.

Soccer Shots Southwest CT
Soccer Shots offers three core programs to meet the developmental needs of children ages 2 – 8.
It’s way more than just learning the game of soccer. They aim to build character, skills and confidence while also having a whole lot of FUN and are committed to providing safe, positive experiences through the game of soccer.
Spring programs are outside at the Stamford JCC and inside at STM Fieldhouse.
Stamford Little League
Time to grab your bats and gloves! Spring 2025 registration is closing soon, and evaluations are approaching!
Register your 4 – 6 year old child by April 1!
Register your 7 – 8 year old child by March 22!
The Division your child plays in will depend on where your player lives OR goes to school. You can use the Map OR School Lists on this page to determine which Division. Use the Website to register for the correct division.
Challenger Division is Little League’s adaptive baseball program for individuals with physical and developmental challenges. The Little League Challenger Division accommodates players ages 4-18, or up to age 22 if still enrolled in school. Registration closes on April 30!
Stamford Rugby Club
At Stamford Rugby Club, the mission is to cultivate a love for rugby in children aged 5 – 18.
Programs include:
Flag Rugby (Grades K-12): A fun and easy introduction focusing on fun, teamwork, and the foundational skills of rugby.
Youth Tackle Rugby (Grades 5-8): Building on the fundamentals, this program emphasizes safe and skillful play.
High School Rugby (Grades 9-12): Instills sportsmanship, camaraderie, and a deep pride in representing Stamford Rugby Club.

JA Elite Soccer Academy
Spring season programs are designed to boost the players’ development during the Spring soccer season. Spring programs are highlighted by our Skills Development Program. These unique training sessions are additional to the players’ weekly club team’s practices. Programs for ages 18 months – 14 years old.

This spring, get ready for 9 Man Flag – Friday Nights at Boyle Stadium for 7th & 8th graders (Co-Ed). It’s a perfect opportunity to sharpen skills, compete, and play under the lights! Friday nights, April 25 – May 16, 7 p.m. – 10 p.m.

Walter Bloom Skills & Scrimmages Basketball League for grades K – 5. Players will work with professional coaches on fundamentals such as dribbling, passing, shooting, rebounding, defense, footwork and more. Sessions end in scrimmages to enhance their skills. Pre-register for Spring AAU Tryouts.

The Stamford Lacrosse Association is a nonprofit organization operating youth lacrosse programs for boys and girls in grades K – 8, who are Stamford residents. They offer instructional clinics and opportunities for team play.

Stamford Stars Softball
Stamford Stars works together with the City of Stamford to provide a place for girls between the ages of 4 and 14 to play softball with a focus on learning sportsmanship, teamwork and competition in a fun environment.
The Stamford Stars Spring House League is the primary softball offering for girls born 2011-2020 in Stamford and is divided into the following age groups:
Majors (Born 2011 & 2013)
Minors (Born 2014, 2015 & 2016 with board approval)
Minis (Born 2016, 2017 & 2018 with 1 yr Rookies experience)
Rookies (Born 2018, 2019, 2020)

Stamford Youth Soccer League
The Spring Season for the Stamford Youth Soccer League House League programs will run from early April to early June 2025. The children will be organized by birth years into various divisions coached by volunteers. Games will be played on Saturdays. Open to boys and girls between the ages of 4 and 19.
