Applications for the 2020-2021 school year are now open for the Stamford Public School District’s elementary magnet school programs.
Applications will be accepted until November 15 at 4:00 p.m. The district moved up the deadline for applying this year, in order to provide elementary schools with additional time to plan.
To fill out an application, go to the Applications for Magnet Schools page of the district website.
The lottery drawing is Monday, December 16. Acceptances are due on Wednesday, January 15, 2020.
Want to learn more? The Community Open House, scheduled for November 7, is an opportunity for parents to visit their district school, as well as a magnet program, if desired. Elementary presentations and tours are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. at each school. Middle and high school presentations and tours are scheduled fo 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.
The district will have additional opportunities to learn about the magnet programs. Information is expected in the coming week.
