Curtain Call’s Summerstock and Summerstock Junior Workshops: Full-day, conservatory-style workshop programs in dramatic arts, where students focus on a variety of skills rotating in age-appropriate groups between specialized instructors. The Greenwich Audubon Center is excited to offer our Summer Nature Day Camp in 2024!

They are offering 7 weeks of fun-filled activities, outdoor experiences, and adventure, with our age-specific tracks of programming returning this summer! Each block is based on the unique elements of nature that we observe as the summer progresses. Each week, campers at Greenwich Audubon Center’s Summer Nature Day Camp explore nature in a fun, safe environment within the 285 acres of our nature sanctuary. Audubon camp fosters curiosity through outdoor discovery that helps campers develop an understanding of the natural world. These unique experiences and adventures can grow into a lifelong appreciation for our environment.

Camp days are filled with a variety of activities—including hiking, pond and stream exploration, crafts, nature-themed games, live animal interactions, and birding. Staff is selected for their experience and skills working with youth and for their interest in local ecology and natural history. All staff must pass background checks and are required to hold current CPR and First Aid certifications, making camp a safe place to learn about and experience nature.

Capture the fun of summer with this unique and engaging summer camp of acting, music and dance led by Kayla and Kurt of Kx2 Music!

This fun and engaging camp led by experienced music educators will teach acting skills, movement, how to bring characters to life and develop stage presence while building confidence. During each one-week session students will enjoy learning and performing songs, scenes and dances from Disney shows, in small break out groups and one large group altogether to create a show.

They will have a choice in their small group song, scene selection and character – from Moana to Frozen, Little Mermaid, Aladdin, Tangled, Beauty And The Beast and more!

Themed daily art projects will include prop decorating and designing poster boards, followed by afternoon movement activities & fun games. Each session will end with a performance family & friends on Friday at 2 p.m.

Capture the fun of summer with this unique and engaging summer camp of acting, music and dance – Taylor’s version – led by Kayla and Kurt of Kx2 Music!

Students will enjoy learning and performing their favorite Taylor Swift songs, making friendship bracelets and learn to write a song like Taylor in smaller break out groups and in one large group altogether to create a show.

They will have a choice in their small groups of song selection – from the expansive Taylor Swift repertoire!

This fun, engaging camp will teach acting skills, movement, how to write songs and bring performances to life and develop their stage presence whilst building confidence.

There will be different themed art projects each day including prop decorating and designing poster boards. Each afternoon there will be fun movement activities & games. There is a performance at the end of each week for family and friends at 2 p.m. on the Friday!

This summer’s musical is Madagascar A Musical Adventure JR.

The Russian School of Mathematics (RSM) is an award-winning, after-school math program for K-12 students. Named “among the top schools in the world” by the Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth, the program helps children of all levels excel in mathematics.

At the Stamford Ninja Academy, they offer summer and school break camps for ninjas ages 6 – 13 (children not yet age 6 must be entering first grade).

The lead camp counselors are the same staff that coach throughout school year classes. The Stamford Ninja Academy camp is certified by the State of Connecticut and held in a fully air-conditioned facility.

In addition to obstacle training, campers will participate in daily indoor games, group activities, arts & crafts, in-house field trips, ice-cream parties and much more!

The Tim Morehouse Fencing Club summer camps are a great way for children from the Stamford area to learn about fencing while having fun at the same time. With experienced coaches and a safe environment, these camps provide an excellent opportunity for kids to develop their skills while making new friends.

The club is led by Olympic fencer and coach Tim Morehouse, who has over 20 years of experience in the sport. He and his team of coaches provide top-notch instruction in all three weapons (foil, epee, and saber), footwork drills, strategy, and mental training. With a focus on safety, respect for others, and having fun while learning the sport of fencing, moms can be sure that their children are in good hands at Tim Morehouse Fencing Club camps.

Weekly Sessions, June 17 – August 2

Camp Whitby combines exploration, learning, and, most importantly, fun into an extraordinary camp experience. The Wildcats program is intentionally designed for children in Grades 1-4.

What makes Camp Whitby cooler than other camps? Activity instructors (many of whom are longtime Whitby after-school program partners) are pros with tons of experience working with kids alongside the camp counselors. Wildcat campers have the opportunity to learn and experience a variety of activities with themes centered around STEM, arts and crafts, sports, music, and dance, plus surprise activities each week.

All activities take place on Whitby’s 32-acre campus. The outdoor areas include playing fields, playgrounds with newly installed equipment, tennis courts, the Gaga Ball pit, an Audubon-certified Schoolyard Habitat, and the community garden classroom. Campers will enjoy the Athletic Center with a climbing wall, the Performing Arts Center, an art studio and ceramics room, the Makerspace, and a full kitchen.
