BARTLETT SUMMER CAMP

Grades K – 5

The Bartlett Arboretum & Gardens camp programs offer immersion into the natural world through the exploration of the Arboretum’s 93 acres of forest and gardens. Discover a new theme each week, which is tied to the plants and animals that live at the Arboretum, and incorporates hands-on STEAM concepts in age appropriate contexts.

1 & 2 Week courses through July

Codebug courses are designed to ensure your child’s introduction to web development is enthusiastic and challenging, leaving them inspired to keep building. Our collaborative, project-based curriculum is designed by Sarah, a math teacher turned software engineer and taught by two professional software engineers (Sarah and McArthur). Codebug creates a comfortable and inclusive learning environment designed to foster student curiosities and build autonomous learners.

Curtain Call’s Summerstock Workshop

Curtain Call’s Summer Youth Theatre
Grades 4 – age 21 (by audition)
Production Dates June 13 – August 15

For 30 years, Curtain Call has offered a chance for youth to act out each summer! The Summerstock programs are full-day workshops where students rotate in age appropriate groups between various theatre arts subjects. The Summer Youth Theatre is by audition only and presents a full-scale musical production each summer. The 2020 production will be Big the Musical!

GIRLS WHO CODE

Grades 10 & 11

During Girls Who Code’s free 7-week program, participants learn about computer science, gain exposure to tech jobs, and join a sisterhood of girls who are using computer science to become change-makers.

Locust Performing Arts Center of Stamford (LPAC) offers an exciting full-day Dance and Arts Workshop Program June 29 – July 3 for ages 6-10 where children explore Hip Hop, Contemporary, Jazz dance and more along with crafts, games and dance-themed activities. A week of afternoon and evening Hip Hop and Contemporary Intensives for older children and teens are also available. Programs feature a mini performance showcase for family and friends!

PEACE YOUTH FOUNDATION

PEACE Basketball Summer Camp provides all-around skills development in a fun and safe environment. They utilize training drills, games, contests and scrimmages to help players improve their ball handling, shooting, decision making, and all around offensive skills – challenging yet fun for all skill levels. Peak Performance All Sports Camp 
is for boys and girls ages 4 – 10. The new Peak Performance Middle School “Game On” All Sports Camp is exclusively for middle schoolers! Both offer a combination of traditional sports games in a tournament format. Campers will play games of soccer, basketball, flag football, baseball, other games like ga ga ball, dodgeball, capture the flag, and kickball.

 Camp Playland is “A day camp with the away camp atmosphere.” 3 heated swimming pools, sports, arts, go-karts, ropes courses, archery and more! Each of the Stamford Museum & Nature Center’s six weekly camp sessions features a different theme, which is integrated into the activities and programs for the week, taking full advantage of the SM&NC’s unique setting. Programs are led by an experienced SM&NC Environmental Educator or Preschool Teacher to provide exciting and engaging interactive experiences both in the classroom and in the natural world. ST. LUKE’S STORM SPORTS CAMP

Ages 4 – 14

Full-Day (8:45 a.m. – 3:45 p.m.)
Half Day (8:45 a.m. – 11:45 p m.)

Under the direction of our experienced and knowledgeable coaching staff, campers will take advantage of St. Luke’s state-of-the-art athletic facilities in a fun and safe environment. The focus will be on individual skill development as well as tactical and team development. In addition to honing their skills, campers will learn about the importance of leadership, teamwork and sportsmanship.

St. Luke’s School is pleased to offer a unique sports camp featuring: Soccer, Lacrosse, Baseball, Softball, Field Hockey, Basketball, Squash, Tennis And more! Both full-day and half-day sessions are available. Campers will participate in multiple sports over the course of any one week.

Our Junior Camp is designed for 4-7 year-old to learn the fundamentals of various sports with our experienced and enthusiastic coaches. The camp will be focused on providing a fun sporting experience for all with individual skill development at the forefront. Traveling this summer or not able to commit to an ongoing weekly class? Sweet Blue Swim Academy’s intensive programs are mini weekly swim camps, set up per skill and age ability. A swimmer attends a daily hour-long swim class at the same time, for five days straight, Monday to Friday. (Parent & Child Intensive classes are 30 minutes). You will be able, if you so wish, to sign up for one or more intensive classes at a time as intensive classes are defined by weekly sessions.
