Parents interested in applying to one of the Stamford Public School District’s elementary magnet school programs are invited to visit the school they’re interested in, during one of the magnet school tours this fall. Dates and times for each school are below so you can mark your calendar, now:
Magnet School Orientations
- Hart: October 16 at 1:00 p.m. and November 14 at 7:00 p.m.
- Toquam: October 23 at 1:00 p.m. and November 6 at 7:00 p.m.
- Strawberry Hill: October 22 at 10:00 a.m. and November 12 at 7:00 pm
- Westover: October 23 at 9:30 a.m. and November 7 at 7:00 p.m.
- Rogers: October 16 at 9:30 a.m. and November 13 at 7:00 p.m.
- General Magnet Orientation at the Government Center Cafe: October 24 at 7:00 p.m.
Elementary magnet school applications are open now until November 15 at 4:00 p.m. Go to the Applications for Magnet Schools page of the district website to fill out an application.
Parents are also encouraged to visit their districted school during Community Open House, which is scheduled for November 7. Elementary presentations and tours are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. Middle and high school presentations and tours are scheduled fo 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. More information is posted, below!
