Stamford Beach Parking permits are now available for Stamford residents to purchase for the 2022 season. A permit is required at Cove Island, Cummings, West Beach, John J. Boccuzzi, Dorothy Heroy & Newman Mills Riverbank Walk Parks, May 1 – September 30, 2022.

To purchase by mail, send a photocopy of your current car registration, a self-addressed stamped envelope and any other required documentation along with a check payable to the City of Stamford, and the permit will be mailed back to you. You will need to sign up with either an email address or phone number.
Purchasing a permit in-person at at the government center is subject to COVID-19 openings and social distancing restrictions. As of now, beach permits can be purchased at the Stamford Government Center from 8:00 a.m. – 3:45 p.m. until Labor Day.

How are Beach Permits enforced?
- You will be required to input your car’s license plate and attach necessary documentation in the on-line system.
- If your license plate does not match what is in our system, you will be ticketed.
- You must pay for your permit and receive a receipt in order for your permit to be valid.
- All information is available in your account at stamfordpermits.rmcpay.com.
Permits will be enforced digitally through your active license plate in our system. Place PAID receipt on dashboard.
