This September, Kids Helping Kids (KHK) proudly kicks off the 12th Annual Health Wellness & Lifestyle Expo on Saturday, September 9 at 8:30 a.m. with the KHK 5K Walk/Run for Good.
The event, which is a fundraiser to support KHK programming initiatives, is at Kosciuszko Park, 200 Elmcroft Road, Stamford. This event will be professionally timed and medals will be awarded to the overall winner (male and female). The winners will be announced at the race. Following the walk/run, please join us at the KHK exhibit area on the Harbor Point boardwalk for refreshments and the chance to be entered in a prize drawing. One lucky person will win a health and wellness basket that includes free yoga classes, a gift certificate to The Xenhouse and CycleBar, both in Stamford.
Registration is now open! Participants that register by August 25th are eligible for the early bird registration fee of $40. After which, the price will go up to $45. Cross country teams, running clubs, youth groups, and schools are encouraged to register as a team.
