Meet Luigi! | Stamford Moms

How many kids do you have and what are their ages?
I have three children. Two boys one girl ages 1, 4, and 6.

What do you like most about raising a family in this area?
What I like most about raising a family in this area is the amount of variety it has to offer. Family friendly restaurants, parks, beaches, and entertainment. There is often something fun taking place locally and when things are slow there is plenty of fantastic places nearby that make for a great day trip.

What are your favorite things to do in Stamford?
Some of my favorite things to do in Stamford are participating in the seasonal community events, local fairs, festivals, and catching a show at the Palace Theater.

Tell us about your career.
I am the Director of Marketing for County TV & Appliance in Stamford. I am responsible for creating and maintaining all the advertising and brand representation for the business. I also create, organize, and facilitate special events, oversee the social media accounts, monitor the company’s presence online, represent the company at industry events, and supervise the overall satisfaction of our customers.

What is your favorite Father’s Day gift option at County TV this year?
My favorite Father’s Day gift option at County TV this year is the Sonos Move portable speaker. Made for indoor and outdoor use it has Bluetooth and Wi-Fi capabilities. Perfect for listening to music while doing yardwork or relaxing on the patio.

What do you like about your job?
There are many great aspects to my job. I am passionate about what I do and who I represent, it never feels like work and I can look forward to it every day. I get to be creative and strategic when designing advertising campaigns, participate in local charities, community events, organizations, and the opportunity to interact with so many great individuals on a daily basis.

How do you balance work & family?
It is not always an easy balance but I am fortunate to have a position that allows for me to have some flexibility in my schedule to accommodate the needs of my family and a company that understands the importance of family relationships. I owe a lot of credit to my wife who is a terrific mother and does so much to organize our children’s schedules. Like most relationships, communication and planning is an important element in maintaining a healthy balance.

What’s the best piece of “dad advice” you’ve gotten so far?
The best piece of “dad advice” I have gotten so far is to appreciate the little things and to make big memories with small opportunities. We all love to spoil our children with an elaborate vacation or an over the top birthday gift, but the simplest acts can be the most impactful. A walk through the neighborhood, cooking dinner together, a repair project around the house, or family movie night can all be ingredients for a special moment.
