Meet Kylie! | Stamford Moms

How many kids do you each have and what are their ages?
I have a 6 year old son, Aiden. And an 11 year old daughter, Lily.

What are your favorite family activities in Stamford?
We live downtown so we love to take walks around town sometimes with scooters or bikes through Mill River Park.

What do you like about living in Stamford?
I love the many family oriented activities that Stamford has to offer through all seasons of the year. From parades, to markets and concerts. So much to do!

Tell us about Kylie’s Custom Kreations.
Kylie’s Custom Kreations evolved from a continuous request from family and friends asking to make them custom items because they saw me making gifts for birthdays and holidays.

Before I knew it, I was taking orders and established a business doing what I love! To be creative!

I have had the pleasure of helping companies with branding and advertising with uniforms, merchandise and Signage. As well as design and make custom gifts and apparel for special occasions, holidays, back to school or simply, just because you want your name or photo on something.

What is your inspiration behind the business?
Initially it was to have a creative outlet. Crafting is so therapeutic for me.

The more orders I received, the more I realized that people have ideas but just don’t know how to implement them and make them a reality. I love taking those ideas and bringing them to life and seeing my clients reactions.

What is your favorite thing to create?
That’s a thought question!!

I love to learn. So I am always looking up new techniques and new products on the market I can work with. So it’s always changing.

At the moment I am loving using patches!

How do you juggle work and mommyhood?
Finding a routine is what helps me work the best. Working when the kids are in school or when I am busy, of an evening when they are in bed.

Or if they have no school, I TRY to have them help me in the office by bribing them

With snacks lol

What is the best piece of advice you’ve gotten from another mom?
To ask for help. I don’t often ask for help. But sometimes we need it more than we realize. Mom’s stick together.
