Can you please tell us a bit about yourself personally?
I’m originally from Ohio—big Buckeye fan! I did all my schooling at The Ohio State University and trained at the Cleveland Clinic. My husband and I moved to Fairfield County because we wanted our kids to grow up with the same kind of small-town feel we had. I love reading, traveling, cooking, gardening, and cheering on my kids at their games.
What made you decide to choose Greenwich as a location to practice?
Greenwich is such a vibrant community with families who really care about their health. I wanted to bring high-quality ENT care close to home.
Please tell us about CT ENT and what makes it unique?
We take a caring, whole-person approach. When you come in, we’re not just focused on one issue—we make sure to check in on everything ENT-related, so nothing gets missed. Our goal is for you to feel truly heard, cared for, and confident that we’ve looked at the full picture
Did you always know you wanted to be a Doctor? What is your professional background?
I actually wanted to be a vet! I worked at a zoo and even did research with chimpanzees. But as I got more into medicine, I realized I loved helping people. Maybe one day I’ll have a farm and live out that dream too!)
What are some of the biggest issues ENTs are seeing today?
We’re seeing more chronic issues, less time with patients, and fewer ENTs overall. What I love about CT ENT is that we’re a local, private practice—not part of a big system. That lets us take the time to really care for each patient, the way medicine should be.”
Any quick tips for keeping your sinuses healthy? Especially starting at a young age?
Don’t ignore the little things—those nagging sinus or allergy symptoms can turn into bigger problems if left untreated. Start treating allergies early, especially in kids, to prevent long-term issues. And remember, your overall health matters! Staying active, eating well, and staying hydrated all help keep your sinuses in good shape too.”
When do you need to go see an ENT as opposed to your pediatrician?
If symptoms don’t go away or return, it is time to see the ENT. We can take a closer look when things need more than routine care.
ENT Surgery can seem scary – what can you tell us about the process and recovery?
I’ve been through it myself, so I truly understand how important it is to feel comfortable, cared for, and confident in your care. Many of our procedures are done right in the office, with minimal discomfort—because I know you don’t have time to put life on hold. Most people are back to work, back to family, and back to feeling better within 24-48 hours, with real, lasting relief. It’s care that fits your life, not the other way around—and I’ll be with you every step of the way.
How do you balance being a doctor/surgeon and being a parent?
Being a doctor is easier than being a mom most days—especially with three kids constantly going in different directions, each with their own personality, needs, and chaos! Balancing both is challenging, but being a surgeon has made me a better parent. It’s taught me how to listen (even when things get loud!), stay calm when everything feels crazy, and juggle all the different thoughts, feelings, and situations that come with raising kids. I think it’s good for my kids to see their mom work hard, care for others, and still show up for them—whether it’s at home, on the sidelines, or just being there when they need me most.
What is the best piece of advice you’ve gotten from another parent?
The best advice I’ve gotten is to give yourself grace. You don’t have to be perfect—just present. Some days will be messy, and that’s okay. Your kids don’t need perfection, they just need you
What do you like to do to relax/have fun for yourself and as a family?
We love our weekly family movie nights—it’s a tradition! We watch the classics my husband and I grew up with, and luckily, the kids are just as into them. They’re obsessed with The Goonies right now. We also love to travel together, exploring new places, trying different foods, and giving the kids a chance to see the world in new ways. It’s all about making memories and having fun as a family
Anything else you’d like to share?
I’m a mom, a doctor, and like most of us, a busy woman doing her best to keep all the balls in the air—and enjoying the ride (most days!). And yes, I like to think I’m pretty awesome too, because we all deserve to own that sometimes.
