The 7th annual ARTWALK in Stamford Downtown! is on Friday. The evening will showcase eight downtown galleries in a festive gallery stroll and will feature art receptions, live music, dance lessons, art demonstrations and children’s art activities. Plus, it’s free to the public!
The event will feature more than 100 artists, including photographers, painters, sculptors, a master goldsmith and multi-media exhibitions, all reflecting a diverse selection of mediums, styles and trends in the Contemporary Art World. The majority of the artwork on display will be available for purchase.
New this year, visit Shared_Studios (sharedstudios.com/stamford-ct-usa) in Latham Park, where you can interact with artists from around the world. Enjoy live music curated by Barbara Occhino (barbaraentertains.com) and dance lessons with Dance with Me Stamford along the ARTWALK route. There will also be a live portrait demonstration and you can check out the ARTWALK Kids Zone, where children can draw, experiment with 3D shaping, coding and book writing.
