How To Get Your Stamford Beach Sticker! | Stamford Moms

Despite COVID-19, Stamford beaches remain open. Although while visiting, you’re encouraged to maintain social distancing by staying six feet apart and wearing a mask when it’s not possible to maintain safe distancing.

Parking permits will be required at Cove Island, Cummings, West Beach, Southfield, Dorothy Heroy & Newman Mills Riverbank Walk Parks beginning May 1, through September 30.

This year due to COVID-19, residents can only purchase beach permits online or by mail. Beach permits will not be sold at the Government Center until it is re-opened.

We have information about purchasing beach passes, below!

The City of Stamford is encouraging people to purchase their beach permit online, since it’s the quickest option. To purchase, click the below and follow the instructions for your permit type. Once approved, you will pay by credit card and a beach sticker will be mailed to you. The City says you can expect some potential delay with delivery, so make sure you order your permit well ahead of time.

City Park permits can also be purchased by mail. Send a photocopy of your current car registration, a self-addressed stamped envelope and any other required documentation along with a check payable to the City of Stamford and the permit will be mailed back to you.

You will need to sign up with either an email address or phone number.

Daily beach passes will also be avilalble at the beach entrance for $26.59. However, full season permits will not be sold at the beaches.
