Halloween Breakfast Idea! - Stamford Moms

Start Halloween off with a breakfast set up the whole family can help to create!

Our friend and fellow Stamford mom, Mariane started the blog, Lulu Quadri where she’s sharing her love of crafting, cooking and all things DIY! She is sharing her favorite set up with us!

Kids will love to get involved and help to make the mini pumpkins (mandarins with cucumber stems) and skeleton pancakes.

Check it out below and be sure to follow Mariane on Instagram @lulu.quadri!

2 cups flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 salt
3 tablespoons granulated sugar
2 tablespoons melted butter
2 cups whole milk
2 eggs
1teaspoon  vanilla extract.

1. Mix the dry ingredients well and set aside.
2. In a separate bowl, whisk the milk, eggs, and vanilla together.
3. Add the melted butter to the flour.
4. Next, add the wet ingredients to the dry and mix until combined. Do not overmix and lumps are perfectly okay here.
4. Use any type of waffle maker (we used a skull maker available at Target. Scoop two tablespoons of batter and cook using the waffle maker instructions.
5. For the mandarin orange “pumpkins” simply peel mandarins and add sliced cucumber to the top for the stems.
6. Enjoy!!
Add some festive Halloween table decor and the family is sure to have a spooky and fun morning!
