While Governor Ned Lamont announced Monday that all restaurants, bars, movie theaters, gyms, and commercial casinos will close with only take-out and delivery options available or an undetermined amount of time, grocery stores, gas stations and pharmacies will remain open.
According to the City of Stamford, food retail owners in Stamford have NOT reported supply chain shortages. At this time, store owners expect to restock their inventory in the coming days. This includes popular items such as nonperishable canned goods, water, toilet paper, etc.

Stop & Shop, Bedford Street & West Main Street
7:30 a.m. – 8 p.m.
Beginning Thursday, they will be open exclusively to customers 60+, 6 a.m. – 7:30 a.m. every day
