Firework Displays Around Fairfield County | Stamford Moms

Just because 4th of July fireworks have been canceled in Stamford, doesn’t mean you have to miss out on the annual tradition altogether! There are plenty of displays scheduled throughout Fairfield County during 4th of July week. The Maritime Aquarium even has a fireworks cruise on July 3 & 4 for the whole family! Check out the schedule below!

 

July 1

Bridgeport
Barnumpalooza Fireworks

Seaside Park at 9:15 p.m.
FREE admission
No rain date
Barnumpalooza is a full day of fun and celebration of the city of Bridgeport and surrounding communities. There will be food trucks, live music, and plenty of carnival rides for kids from 11 a.m. – 10 p.m.

July 2

Fairfield
Independence Day Fireworks Show

Penfield or Jennings Beach at 9:15 p.m
Rain Date on July 3
Beach Parking lots can be accessed either with a Season Beach Sticker or by purchasing a Daily Pass for $50.00 per vehicle (cash only). Daily Passes will be limited to the first 300 vehicles at Jennings Beach and 100 vehicles at Penfield Beach. A Daily Parking Fee will also be charged to park at the Ash Creek Open Space Parking Lot the day of the fireworks.
Entertainment from 6:00 – 8:45 p.m. at Jennings Beach – Sand Jam DJ, Marvin Parsons

Entertainment from 6:45 – 9:00 p.m. at Penfield Beach – To be announced
*Alcoholic Beverages are not permitted on Town beaches, and you will not be permitted to bring your own grill.*

Norwalk

New Canaan
New Canaan Family Fourth of July Celebration

Waving Park at Dusk
Event passes are necessary to enter the park both by car or walking and may be purchased at the Recreation Department Office, Town Hall, and by New Canaan residents online at www.newcanaan.info. The 2018 pass fee is expected to be $35 for residents.

Family picnicking, live music, children’s games area and food court. 

Rowayton
Rowayton Civic Association Fireworks

Bayley Beach at 9:15 p.m.
Vehicles with a Bayley Beach sticker will be admitted, a $40 Special Event Parking Fee will be charged to non-residents.
No rain date
Summer Music Festival before the fireworks show.

Maritime Aquarium Fireworks Cruise to see the Rowayton Fireworks!
7:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.

Soundwaters Public Schooner Cruise to see the Rowayton Fireworks!
