Family Back to School Survey | Stamford Moms

From Stamford Public School Superintendent, Dr. Tamu Lucero

This has been a challenging school year for you, your children, and our school staff.  To help our school leaders and teachers better serve your children, we are asking parents and caregivers to share your experience based on the learning model in which your children are currently participating.  Stamford Public Schools (SPS) has asked Stamford Cradle to Career (SC2C) to help design a survey for our parents, students, and teachers to ensure we are getting the perspective of all members of our SPS community.  We asked SC2C to assist us because of their ties to our many community institutions and their mission of collectively aligning community resources so all Stamford children have better opportunities to succeed in school.

The survey will take about 15 minutes to complete and asks for your reflection on four key areas: curriculum, how connected students feel to their teachers and their peers, communication and safety.  The last day to send your response is Friday, December 4, 2020.  The survey is also available in Spanish and Haitian Creole. Once you have clicked on the survey link, you can select one of these languages by clicking on the globe in the upper right-hand of the screen.

Students in grades 3-12 will complete student surveys during school hours.

If you have any questions regarding the survey or completion of the survey, please email the SPS Office of Family and Community Engagement at [email protected].
