Revolutionary Road Trip

Bring your friends and family for a day of discovery at the Revolutionary Road Trip on June 13 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Tour the War Comes to Middlesex exhibition at MoD, explore the 1736 Colonial Saltbox house with expert guides, and indulge in a taste of history with traditional colonial hot chocolate served by The Pewter Pot Chocolatier. Children will also enjoy a seed planting project with members of the Darien Library and the Garden Club of Darien, taking home a sample of historic, heirloom herbs found in the museum’s memorial garden.

Head to 15 other local historic sites for a “road trip” through history! All spots on the Middlesex Parish 250 driving tour (through Darien, Rowayton and parts of Norwalk) will be “open” with greeters and historic information. For more information: www.middlesexparish250.org.
