Meet Author Bethany O’Brien
Meet author, Bethany O’Brien, a UConn alumna, who will discuss her picture book, The Lucky Husky. The first in a planned series, the book features Jonathan the Husky, UConn’s beloved mascot, and describes his role as the basketball team’s good-luck charm. This heartwarming story is perfect for young readers, UConn families, and fans of Connecticut traditions.
We will have coloring pages, a Husky Hunt around the Children’s Room, and a special chance to wear a basketball jersey and basketball sneakers to take pictures. A surprise special guest will also be visiting the library.
Signed copies of the book will be available for purchase.
