Building Blocks Early Learning Center (BBELC) will have additional spaces for the upcoming school year thanks to an expansion of their High Ridge Road facility.
The center is expanding into the adjoining vacant space on the first floor of the building at 816 High Ridge Road. The expansion will open additional spaces for Baby Blocks (6 weeks – 12 months) and Toddler Twos (24 – 36 months) at the High Ridge facility. The new space is projected to open for new enrollments in late summer/early fall. Spaces are also available in both the Preschool Academy (3 year olds) and Super Blocks (4 & 5 year olds) programs.
BBELC has four locations, two in Stamford on High Ridge Road and Camp Avenue, in addition to Shelton and Wilton. The centers offer daycare to children 6 weeks – 36 months and preschool for children 3 – 5 years old. Centers are open, Monday – Friday: 7:30 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Programs include:
Baby Blocks: 6 weeks – 12 months
Tiny Tots: 12 months – 24 months
Toddler Twos: 24 months – 36 months
Preschool Academy: 3 year olds
Super Blocks: 4 – 5 year olds

This fall, Building Blocks will be introducing a S.T.E.A.M. Enrichment Block to their Preschool Classes! S.T.E.A.M is an integrated play-based curriculum which incorporates science, technology, engineering, art and math into children’s everyday learning! The S.T.E.A.M Lab Cart will visit the classrooms weekly where the children will be guided through discovery and exploration!
