Dine at the Elm Street Diner for a one of kind Christmas dessert
Last year I told my kids if they were good while we waited in the line to see Santa at the mall we would get Christmas desserts after at Elm Street Diner. Those Instagramable milkshakes did not disappoint. 

Visit the House of Lights

Open Thanksgiving to Jan 7, 5 p.m. – 1 a.m.
Every inch of this house is decorated with Christmas lights. Many different colored trees, plenty of Santas, plus Rudolph the red nosed reindeer and much more. If you love Christmas lights, this is a must stop. This house displays the true spirit of Christmas, and the owner ‘Tony Christmas’ is such a nice man.

The Stamford Symphony will host the concert, followed by a visit from Santa. Kids under 18 are FREE with an adult, adults, $35!

Landmark Square & Latham Park
5 p.m. – 7 p.m.
From 22 stories high above watch and cheer for Santa Claus, Rudolph, Grinch, and starring guest rappeller Brian Cashman, GM of the New York Yankees, as they make their daredevil descent, twisting and flying from the top of one of Stamford’s tallest buildings, Landmark Square.

There will be a “quick and delicious” holiday appetizer demo by Anna Gass, a non-alcoholic beer tasting from a local brewer, Athletic Brewing Company, and gluten free & vegan pie sampling from Temima’s Bakery.$12 for adults, $5 for kids 5+ or bring a bag of gently worn clothing or an unwrapped toy. 100% of proceeds benefit Person To Person!

The 19th Annual Hay Ride With Santa
Cove Island Park
Session 1: Saturday, December 1, 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. & 2 p.m. – 5 p.m.
Session 2: Sunday, December 2, 10 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Enjoy a horse drawn trip around Cove Island Park. Santa will sing holiday songs with the children and at the end of each ride they will get to sit on Santa’s lap and receive a small treat. After the ride, participants can enjoy holiday music, cookies, and cocoa under the decorated pavilion. Don’t miss this wonderful holiday event. Ticket cost is $6.00 is per person and you must go to Stamford Recreation to register.
