Like many dog owners, Connecticut dad Tom Arrix thought of his golden retrievers, Cooper & Eddie, as his fifth and sixth children. So when Cooper was diagnosed with lymphoma in 2018, Tom set out to do everything he could do to ensure Cooper’s recovery, including meeting with a veterinary wellness specialist who shifted his diet from dry kibble to fresh ingredients. So, Tom launched Joy Food to help others give their pets the same high quality food that had helped heal Cooper.
