by Oula provided by Stamford Health

Choosing maternity care is a deeply personal decision. You want providers who listen, who take time to answer questions, and who support you through every step of pregnancy and early parenthood.

Families across Connecticut and Westchester can now find that kind of care at Oula provided by Stamford Health, a new midwifery-led maternity practice in Norwalk. The clinic brings together midwives, OBGYNs, and care navigators to support patients from preconception through postpartum — with a holistic, individualized approach to care.

At the center of it all is a dedicated care team committed to helping patients feel informed, supported, seen, and confident throughout pregnancy, birth, and beyond.

Colleen Delaney, MD – Associate Medical Director & OBGYN

Meet Colleen Delaney, MD, OBGYN & Associate Medical Director

Working closely alongside the midwifery team is Dr. Colleen Delaney, an OBGYN & Associate Medical Director at Oula provided by Stamford Health, who brings extensive experience caring for patients across pregnancy and gynecological care. She earned her undergraduate degree from Villanova University before attending Drexel University College of Medicine. Dr. Delaney completed her residency training at Stamford Hospital, where she developed her expertise in obstetrics and gynecology.

Dr. Delaney works closely with patients and the care team to help guide clinical decisions and support patients when more specialized care is required.

“I believe medicine is most powerful when patients are active participants in their care journey.”

Care that begins before pregnancy

Oula welcomes patients who are planning for pregnancy, trying to conceive, or already pregnant (as early as a positive test!). The practice offers preconception visits, prenatal care, delivery at Stamford Hospital, postpartum support, and ongoing gynecology care.

Patients also have access to ongoing education, perks, workshops, and a digital community made up of (soon-to-be) moms going through similar experiences.
