Workshop For Parents: Navigating Stamford Schools | Stamford Moms

Have questions about Stamford Public Schools? Get them answered at a FREE workshop on Wednesday, November 28!

The Stamford Public Education Foundation (SPEF), in partnership with the Alumni Networks of the Parent Leadership Training Institute (PLTI), People Empowering People (PEP) and Parents Supporting Educational Excellence (PSEE), invite Stamford residents to attend the workshop entitled, Navigating Stamford Schools. It’s 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. at the Stamford Government Center’s 4th Floor Cafeteria.

The following professionals will be on hand providing insights into best resources for all children, including those with special needs.

•       Jackie Poli, education professional and advocate
•       Betsy Allyn, Stamford Board of Education
•       Jill Chuckas, educational advocate from CT Education Advocacy
•       Mike Meyer, Director of Family Engagement from Stamford Public Schools
•       Representatives from Abilis, Children’s Learning Centers, and Birth to 3

All are welcomed to attend this FREE event. Childcare will be available, and dinner will be provided from 5:30 p.m. – 6 p.m. Spanish interpretation will also be available.
