Maple sugar season events begin in our area this month!
February through March marks maple sugar season in Connecticut and New York! Cold nights and warm sunny days are needed to turn sap into syrup! Maple syrup production is winter farming and, therefore, weather dependent. A typical season is five weeks long and presents an a sweet opportunity for fun outdoor activities for the whole family.
