Head to the Mystic Seaport Museum

Timed admission is not required.

My family was so excited to discover this gem! Enjoy the sprawling grounds along the Mystic River including a children’s museum featuring a hands-on environment for children and their parents b playing in an indoor boat, toy and game area. There is also an outdoor playscape, planetarium, working shipyard, 500+ historic watercraft and more!

Tips: Buy a Mystic Pass Card, the joint Mystic Seaport Museum and Mystic Aquarium ticket! Enjoy lunch next door or head into town!

Check out the American Lantern Festivals at Lyman Orchard

Visit the Animals at Silvermans Farm

There is an admission fee upon arrival.

My family loves to visit Silverman’s animal farm to pet and feed the llamas, alpacas, sheep, goats, deer, and more. Plus, we love stopping in the store for donuts, pies and more.
