Brunch with your Family
Several Stamford restaurants are offering Mother’s Day brunch! Farmhouse at the Crossroads is one of our favorite options! Prime Stamford is always a favorite for brunch on the water! The Italian Center Stamford is offering a Mother’s Day brunch with live music and entertainment for the kids! Fish, Columbus Park Trattoria and Divina in Stamford Downtown are all excellent options, as are Table 104 and Lenny’s in North Stamford.
Get Outside
Grab sandwiches, snacks, beverages and head to the park or to the beach for a picnic outside! Scalzi or Chestnut Hill Park are great! West Beach is also perfect if you have your Stamford Beach Pass. Head to the Dogwood Festival in Fairfield on Saturday, May 9, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. and Sunday, May 10, 11 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Spend the day at a nearby vineyard! Sample wines, have a picnic and enjoy! Jones Winery in Shelton is taking reservations. Chamard Vineyards is located in Clinton, CT and has a bistro, tours and tastings. Aquila’s Nest Vineyard is located in Newtown and offers firepit reservations, tastings and picnics outdoors! Gouveia Vineyards is located in Wallingford and you can bring a picnic, purchase a meat and cheese plate there and sample wine!
Stop by Designs by Lee on Saturday, May 9 and Sunday, May 10 for The Mother’s Day Makers Market, 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. to shop, pick up some flowers and plants for your garden!
