Go on a Family Nature Walk at the Bartlett
Bundle up and to the Bartlett Arboretum & Gardens for a family nature walk (check the trail map here). Look for birds, squirrels and fun leaves. Looking for a fun challenge? Try a scavenger hunt… the Secret Head Scavenger Hunt or Fairy House Scavenger Hunt! Be sure to bring snacks or lunch for a picnic.
Head to StoryWalk® at Mill River Park
The library’s Storywalk® features Jabari Jumps by Gaia Cornwall. This sweet story about overcoming your fears features a boy who is almost ready to take a leap off a diving board with encouragement from his patient father. Walk the park and read the story.
Visit the Maritime Aquarium 4D Experience®
The Maritime Aquarium 4D Experience® is currently showing two films throughout the day, THE POLAR EXPRESS™ 4D Experience®and BBC Earth’s OCTOPUS: Blue Planet II 4D Experience. The Maritime Aquarium’s cinematic experience sends the action spilling off the two-story screen and over the audience with thrill-enhancing sensory special effects, such as scents, bubbles, wind, mists and more!
