Fireworks continue in our area through Saturday with Stamford’s show on Saturday! But if you’re staying in town and looking for something fun to do with the whole family today, there are a number of firework shows and other options! Check out our list below and have a very Happy 4th of July!

Stamford
Head to the beach!
Here is all you need to know about obtaining a pass.

Elm Street Diner has VERY patriotic milkshakes to get you into a festive mood! They’re open 7:30 a.m. – 2 p.m.

New Canaan
New Canaan Family Fourth of July Celebration

Waveny Park following the live music.
Entrance passes are on sale for New Canaan residents at $35 per car at the Recreation Department office in Waveny House, Baskin-Robbins, the New Canaan Toy Store, Walter Stewart’s Market and Town Clerk’s Office all through July 3 and online through June 28. A limited number of non-resident passes at $65 per car are available at the Recreation Department Office through July 3. 
Activities will include family picnicking, children’s games and several gourmet food trucks.  Live music will include “Mind the Gap” from 5:30 p.m. – 7 p.m. and the Town Band from 7 p.m. – 9:15 p.m. 

Rowayton
Rowayton Civic Association Fireworks

Bayley Beach at 9 p.m.
Vehicles with a Bayley Beach sticker will be admitted, a $40 Special Event Parking Fee will be charged to non-residents.
Summer Music Festival before the fireworks show at 5 p.m.

Maritime Aquarium Fireworks Cruise to see the Rowayton Fireworks!
7:00 p.m. – 10:30 p.m.
Tickets are $75 per person. Advance reservations are strongly suggested.

Soundwaters Public Schooner Cruise to see the Rowayton Fireworks!
7 p.m. – 10 p.m.
$75 per person. Bring your dinner and your favorite beverage!

Wilton
July 4th Celebration

Wilton High School at 9:30 p.m.
Patron parking passes available at the Wilton Parks & Recreation Department through July 3 for $35. Cars without passes will be charged $20 the day of the event.
Freedom Run 5K Road Race at 8:30 a.m., Democrats vs. Republicans Softball Game at noon, Live DJ & Food Trucks at 5 p.m., Fireworks at 9:30 p.m.

Ridgefield
Ridgefield’s Family 4th  Fireworks Celebration
Ridgefield High School
Gates open at 6 p.m. Fireworks begin at dusk.
Rain date is July 5
Parking passes required, $20 per car. Passes available at Fairfield County Bank, Ridgefield Town Hall & Ridgefield Chamber of Commerce.
